Richmond Snow

Richmond Snow follows the city during a rare weather pause. Roads empty out, bridges hold their weight in silence, and familiar routes become pale corridors through concrete, water, storefront glass, and winter sky.

The sequence moves through spaces built for circulation. Streets, stairs, rails, ramps, and underpasses remain in place while the ordinary pace of the city drops away. Snow makes the infrastructure visible by slowing the bodies and vehicles that usually pass through it.

The photographs hold Richmond in a temporary state: exposed, quiet, and suspended between use and stillness.
